We had an exquisite family dinner. The house wine was very pleasant and the service was helpful in picking our dishes. The gnocchi with beef stew were very perfectly made and the beef was melting in my mouth. The sauce was irresponsible and we finished it with the complimentary bread. My son was pleasantly surprised by the risotto and said that every flavour complimented each other. My husbands octopus stew was soft but not over cooked. Overall highly recommend.

We had an octopus goulash and grilled veil stake with gnocchis. Goulash was amazing, really, stake was ok. Ambient was nice and relaxed, waiter very amiable and quick in service. It was not very cheap, but worth it. Highly recommend!

A great place for trying traditional Croatian food, with great staff. Waiter Ivan was very nice and even offered to take a picture of us with our polaroid so we'd have a souvenir. The place is not crawling with tourists so it is rather easy to find a table. It is also relatively colder than the area closer to the seaside. The prices are lower than the average seaside low-quality cashgrab tourist magnets and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The restaurant is recommended by a Polish culinary traveller Robert Makłowicz and he is absolutely right.

We had soups for starters, and seafood risotto and steak for mains. The soups were good, the steak well made. The risotto a bit less to our taste (a lot of rice, not a lot of seafood). Good food compared to alternatives in the area but nothing exceptional. Service was very slow (about an hour until we got the main dish) and the waiter could barely spare us the time to explain the menu. Overall solid lunch/dinner choice

Wonderful service, crazy full interior of celebrity photos, antiques and quirky collections...but the authentic Croatian dishes were the reason to go. It was all delicious, fresh and rustic. Croatian wine selection is very good. Excellent prices. No wonder it has been in business for over 100 years and still, celebrities and people in the know, come to this "off the beaten path" restaurant. Risotto, mussels and the braised beef were excellent with generous servings.

prices quite cheap, cuisine tasty like at grandma's, unfortunately in the evening only 3-4 dishes were available from a very extensive menu, beef stew tasty but fatty, interesting dish with sepia, tasteless fish soup
